I am, since 2013, a Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Skövde, with a big side interest in research ethics in particular. Otherwise my general research interests at the moment pertain mainly to method, in particular in relation to biological psychology/cognitive neuroscience on the one hand, and philosophy/ethics on the other. I want to understand what makes for a compelling finding – whether empirical or theoretical – and what makes many findings fail to reach this goal. Or, in other words, why is the scientific/academic enterprise bloated with so much nonsense, and what can we do to make the situation better?
