I am, since 2013, a Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Skövde and an Adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at Charles Sturt University. My research interests at the moment pertain mainly to method, in particular in relation to biological psychology/cognitive neuroscience on the one hand, and philosophy/ethics on the other. I want to understand what makes for a compelling finding – whether empirical or theoretical – and what makes many findings fail to reach this goal. Or, in other words, why is the scientific/academic enterprise bloated with so much nonsense, and what can we do to make the situation better? More specific information about me is available by following the menu links above.
